N. 84

The sailor gets off his boat
And the sun sets
And the wind speaks to the moon
And the stars watch
The waves continue to knock against the boat
The fish that escaped the sailors cries comes to greet the arch
Almost to tease the man who is no longer there
The fish waits patiently
Mornings and nights pass dozens of times
For if this fish wasn’t bound by its’ place it would have long ago chased the sailor
But it waits, confidently knowing that the sailor is meant to sail
